Read a new publication from Oncowitan: The GTPase protein Rac1 plays major roles in cell mobility and migration. It is implicated also in the regulation of mitochondrial dynamics, notably in the control of mitobiogenesis and mitophagy. The mitochondrial localization and functions of Rac1 are discussed, in the context of cancer.
